He was born in Imperia, Italy on July 2nd, 1980. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics at the Università degli Studi di Firenze (Florence, Italy), and a master’s degree in Sports Business Strategies at the Università Cà Foscari (Venice, Italy).
He started his professional career as a chartered account assistant and as a hotel client manager. In 2008 he joined Euroleague Basketball (Barcelona, Spain) as Institutional Relations Executive. In 2010 he reached the position of Business Development Manager being responsible for the ticket and premium seating sales for the most important basketball event in Europe, the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four, for managing the relations with one of the four main league sponsor and for overseeing the corporate entry strategy into markets outside of Europe, with a focus on the Chinese territory.
In 2013 he was promoted to Head of Business Development adding to his responsibilities the coordination of the Euroleague Basketball Ticketing Program, a consulting service for top European clubs focused on the implementation of a professional strategy aimed to increase and consolidate game-day revenues.
In 2017 he was promoted to Director, Business Operations, leading and coordinating the activities of the newly formed Business Operations & Club Services (BOCS) division, aimed at guiding the transition of the league and its clubs to a business-oriented structure by setting principles, standards, priorities and providing the clubs with business consultancy on all revenue-generation areas such as game-day commercial activities, partnerships, licensing & merchandising, CRM, business planning and organizational structure.
